We have had the good fortune of being able to pilot this curriculum. It has gone through several transformations. With each transformation, we believe that the curriculum has become a better tool for teaching literacy skills while exploring vital health issues.
The teachers and learners in the pilot programs gave us valuable insights and feedback. We have incorporated their work and their words in this final version to guide, inspire, and give courage to others.
