At World Education, we are committed to
respecting the privacy of all our donors
and website visitors, and protecting
the information they share with us. The
following privacy policy outlines the
ways in which we manage and protect the
information you provide us, both online
and by mail.
Information Collection
World Education collects personal data,
including mailing information and
email addresses, when voluntarily
submitted by a visitor. Our website
does not recognize the domain and
e-mail address of visitors automatically.
If you provide your postal address
by mail or online, your name and
other information will be added to
our mailing list. Financial and credit
card information is never shared
with outside organizations or individuals.
Donations by Mail
When visitors provide contact information
on our donation form, the information
will be used for transactions and
for sending acknowledgment of the
donation. Your information is added
to our mailing list, and you may
receive periodic mailings. If you
do not wish to receive mail from
us, please contact us at the above

For gifts made in honor or in memory
of someone, World Education will
not use the individual's information
for any other purposes than acknowledgment
of your gift. In order to keep our
fundraising costs low, we occasionally
exchange donor names and addresses
with other like-minded nonprofit
organizations. You can, however,
have your information removed from
the list we share with other organizations
by contacting us at the address below.
Online Donations
Online donations to World Education are
processed through a third-party service,
Groundspring, which requests information
from the visitor. This information
is used for transactions and for
sending receipt of donations; however,
the user may choose to make an anonymous
donation and his/her personal information
will not be shared with World Education.
Groundspring uses industry standard
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption
to protect personal information and
never sells, trades, or rents personal
information to other individuals
or companies.
Email Addresses
World Education collects e-mail addresses
from those who communicate with us
by email or donate online. If you
communicate with us by e-mail, we
will register you for our quarterly
electronic newsletter, eNews. World
Education never sells, trades, or
rents e-mail addresses to other individuals
or companies.
eNews Sign-up
World Education requests information
from the visitor when registering
for our electronic newsletter, eNews.
A visitor must provide this information
in order to receive eNews. If you
do not want to receive eNews, please
email us at eNews@worlded.org.
