Make a Bequest
Bequests to World Education are one of the most meaningful legacies you can make. You should consider three factors when making a bequest: Percentage of Your Estate, Specific Dollar Amount, and Residue of Your Estate. Talk with your Estate Planner or contact World Education directly to learn more.
Charitable Remainder Unitrust
Charitable Remainder Unitrusts allow you to receive income for life or for a specified number of years. The percentage of payment is determined at the time the trust is established. Actual payments to you will vary with the value of the trust assets. When the trust assets increase, so will your payment and vice versa. You can add to a unitrust at any time.
Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust
A Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust is similar to the unitrust with the exception that it pays a fixed dollar amount each year. Because all annuity trust payments remain constant from year to year, the annuity trust does not allow the addition of gifts to the original trust assets.
When you make your gift, you will receive a charitable income tax deduction, reduction or elimination of capital gains taxes on securities or real estate that has increased in value, and reduction in estate and inheritance taxes.
